SUMMARY: President Hassan visited the Somali military

It is admirable that President Hassan Sheikh visited the soldiers, While in Eritrea, the President, on the other hand, inspected the training facilities of the country’s armed forces before making a last stop at Massawa, which is home to the Naval Forces of the Federal Republic of Somalia. The president commended each of the army’s divisions for the rigorous training they underwent and informed the audience of the importance and priority that the government places on the liberation of terrorist-held territory as well as the expected contribution of these forces to the nation’s overall security. Together with the president of Eritrea, Mr. Isaias Afwerki, the president of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, visited the Somali Navy training facilities there. The president looked at the state of the navy that is being trained in Eritrea during this visit in the hopes that it would play a vital part in the nation’s security operations.
