Buruuj Company wins the construction company of the year.

As assessed by the Somali Engineers Award forum organized by the Somali Expo Group, Buruuj construction company, has won the Construction Company of the year 2022 to become the leader and the role model to its peers.

Buruuj is a national construction company owned by the Somali people, it was founded in the year 2009 for the purpose of implementing modern buildings in the country that can match the international building standards in the world, at a price that the Somali community can afford.

Since its establishment, it has created a large number of jobs, there are over 600 official and permanent employees and 2500 to 3000 who work daily on various projects. These employees are include professionals and laborers.

The company operates and is fully registered in Djibouti, Mogadishu, Hargeisa, Garowe,  Kismayo and other regions of the country in general. Buruuj has tools that facilitate construction such as transport and heavy metals.

The varieties of services that Buruuj provides include; Designing of buildings, Estimating the construction, execution of all types of buildings, Consultancy of buildings, sale of ready concrete, manufacture of bricks and interlocks, production of stone, gravel and soil of various types, leasing of heavy steel and transportation, Exploration and drilling of water wells, creation Modern settlements, settlement management and construction of roads and pavements.

The Buruuj company has implemented major projects, the most important of which is Darusalam, a modern city with complete social services, as well as large buildings such as Rayan Busniess center, Banadir mall, Mumtaz Mall, TTC Building, Hormuud University Km13 Campus, Buruuj Technical School, Banadir hospital’s section to fight against Covid-19, Roads in Waaberi, Cirtoogte, baarubax, Ba’ad market and kaxda.

The Buruuj company established the first technical high school in the country, which has graduated hundreds of technicians who have important jobs in the country and there are still more students learning.

The Minister of Public Works and Development praised the role of the Buruuj Company in the reconstruction and restoration of the country, and at the same time encouraged them to speed up the work so that we can compete with our peers.

Buruuj Company aims to provide its services to the East African community in general, especially the Somali region.
