PM Hamza's lengthy "itinerary" in quest of security solutions.

The Prime Minister was a featured speaker at the Tana High-Level Forum, a meeting of African leaders and other stakeholders. The Prime Minister travelled to Ethiopia for the summit, where he met with Ethiopian authorities, visited Jigjiga, where he met with Somali region state president Mustafa Muhumed Omar, and finished his tour in Hiraan, where he met with members of the local community fighting Alshabab.

The Tana High-Level Forum debate and discussion this year centered on how to handle the African continent’s security concerns. PM Hamza concentrated his speech on Alshabab threat in Somalia and how the government was dedicated to eliminating it. The Prime Minister also addressed how to handle the African continent’s security issues.

During his remarks at the Tana High-Level Forum, the Prime Minister said that in order to address the difficulties that are now confronting the continent, it is critical to unite the communities and link them, he said this was necessary in order to address the challenges that are currently confronting the continent.

During that summit, the Prime Minister said that the continent’s nations must unify, and he reaffirmed President Hassan campaign pledge which was to keep Somalia at peace with the rest of the world, PM stated that the Somali government is working on a vision for Somalia that is in accordance with the rest of the world, giving priority to peace and security.

PM talked about the successes of the government and the Somali people in the war against terrorism, he confirmed  that a vast territory consisting of hundreds of kilometers has been freed in the past few weeks, and he told the audience that the government of Somalia and the Somali people have resolved to eradicate al-Shabaab from the nation by battling it militarily, economically, and intellectually.

Mr. Hamza Abdi Barre, a political newcomer, has only been in power for a few months, but he is credited with playing a significant role in the ongoing fight against Alshabab. He has traveled twice to the frontlines to encourage fighters, and he is said to be working behind the scenes to coordinate the war against Alshabab.

Jigjiga and Dhagaxbur tour

Following the completion of the Tana High-Level Forum, Hamza traveled to Jigjiga, where he was welcomed warmly at Jigjiga’s Garad Wiilwal Airport by the President of the region State, Mr. Mustafa Mohamud Omar, as well as local government officials and a large number of civilians. The Prime Minister and President will discuss ways to collaborate on a variety of critical issues, beginning with the fight against terrorism.

President Mustafa briefed the Prime Minister and his team on the status of the environment and regional development initiatives done by the Regional Government during their four-year tenure in office. Mr. Hamza emphasized the need of close and complete collaboration in combating and removing the terrorist organization generating troubles for the Somali people. Mr. Mustafa’s host acknowledged that the Somali Regional Government discussed ways to collaborate in the battle against the terrorist organization.

The Prime Minister also traveled to Dhagaxbur, which is another town located within the Somali Regional State. While he was there, he met with various members of the Somali Regional Government, including the authorities, intellectuals, and academics. During these talks, he talked about the ways in which they need to cooperate with one another in order to fight the terrorist group.

The Prime Minister shared with the people of Dhagahbur that their brothers in the Republic of Somalia are seeking their  assistance in the fight to eliminate the terrorist organization that is creating trouble for the local population.

On the last phase of his journey, the Prime Minister travelled to  Beledweyne, where he met with the Vice President of the Hirshabelle Regional Government, Mr. Yusuf Ahmed Hagar, and the Governor of the Hiran region, Mr. Ali Jeyte Osman, to assess the progress of the campaign against Alshabab.

Hiraan is an area of great significance in the ongoing war to free the nation. It is in Hiraan that the armed conflict against the terrorist organization Al-Shabaab began. Prime Minister Hamza, was joined on his journey by several Cabinet and Parliament officials.

According to Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre, the purpose of his visit is to speed up the fight between the Somali government and local troops against the terrorist organization that is wreaking havoc in Somalia, as well as to strengthen the struggle to eliminate the terrorist group.

The fact that this was Prime Minister Hamza’s second visit to Beledweyne since he took office demonstrates the significance and priority that both he and his administration place on the fight against the rebel organization. “I say to the people of Hiran not to lose hope, because you are not alone in your battle,” — Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre said while at the frontline.

During his trip, Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre traveled to the locations that were devastated in the recent terrorist attacks on the regional government buildings. “I tell the people of Hiraan not to lose hope, because you are not alone. The Somali people are your support and protection. “

The Prime Minister Hamza sent a message of thanks to the people of the Hiraan, characterizing them as a “honorable example” for the people of freedom-loving Somalia.
